John Random has been writing satire for over twenty years. He was a commissioned writer for WeekEnding and contributed gags for comedians as diverse as Russ Abbott, Phil Cool, Hale and Pace and Rory Bremner. In the 1990's John was a regular voice on The Afternoon Shift and Fourth Column on Radio 4, broadcasting think-pieces alongside such people as Irma Kurtz, Ian Hislop, Lynne Truss and Alexei Sayle. His play The Fall-Out Guy won the 1990 Radio Times Drama Award and was later screened on BBC2. He lives in London with his partner and son and once kissed Kate Winslett.
