From the moment Pip Henderson arrived in the world, people started laughing at her; so a career in comedy seemed a sensible option. Having disappointed her parents by giving up a promising career as a classical Flautist to run away with the circus (as an acrobat and fire artiste) she tried to make amends with some serious work; including national tours of HAMLET (Gertrude), A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM (Puck), THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH (Sabina) and HIAWATHA (Nawadaha). But the comedy kept on calling; and after some 'funny' touring and several seasons in Panto, she joined the Treason Team in 2001. Pip's film & TV credits include CURSED & BLESSED (GenreVision), 6TH SENSE (BBC2), THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH (Channel 4) and various adverts and pop promos. She can currently be seen on the Big Screen, covered in blood and chasing Robert Carlyle down a riverbank in Danny Boyle's latest production 28 WEEKS LATER (Fox Atomic) - she's the one in the dress! |
