The Treason Show is Brighton's award-winning, record-breaking, satirical comedy show Now celebrating its record-breaking 25th year. This award winning, punchline driven show is crafted by a team of over 30 writers and performed by some of the UK's finest comedic talent. With its unique blend of satirical comedy, local references, and toe-tapping tunes, The Treason Show is a must see with more laughs per show than an evening of stand-up. Think Not the Nine 'Clock News meets Spitting Image via The Fast Show.

With the news as febrile as ever, there's never been a better time for satire. They say laughter is the best medicine and where better to get a prescription, than a gag-packed, topical comedy show.

With a monthly topical edition the show moved around, touring the UK and also with an international version in Berlin. The show moved from the Komedia to Brighton Dome, and has been nomadic since then, taking up residency at various venues such as the Old Ship Hotel, The Old Market, Brighton Theatre Royal, Brighton Palace Pier and is now based at Ironworks Studios, Brighton and Ropetackle, Shoreham.

With the pandemic shutting down live shows over 2020 and 2021 we created a TV Spin off version broadcast by Latest TV which is Brighton's local station on channel 7 on freeview and 159 on Virgin. The TV version, shown in 13 UK cities, was nominated for Best TV Sketch Show by the UK Comedy Awards in 2021.

The show continues in Brighton and in various venues in the south east.
